BYE BYE BEDTIME STRUGGLES!!! THE BEST TRICK TO GET YOUR CHILD TO SLEEP SEAMLESSLY!!!

Every parent has implemented the common relaxation methods to help the process go as smooth as possible when it comes to putting your child or children to bed. The minimum amount of crying, screaming and foot stomping possible please!!! Having a little boy myself, I tend to get more of the 'Kevin & Perry attitude' over the screaming part but parents to girls, my thoughts go out to your ear drums!


The common bedtime routine methods such as lavender bubble baths, teeth brushing, bedtime story and cuddles or in my case back tickles can and does work but not in every case. It is also more likely to work when all elements are implemented together.


Throughout the past 6-7 years of parenting, the bedtime routine has been a bit of a struggle from time to time. I had made a rod for my own back and, being a single parent, I would let my son sleep in my bed often and would tickle his back to sleep. I never realised how important the creation of a bedtime routine was and before I knew it, it had become a never ending routine, a routine I had created myself. Every night without a fail I would get "Mummmm… can you tickle my back now!?" Some nights I just couldn't be f***ed for wrist ache, as much as I love him with my whole heart and soul! (I know you get what I mean). There would be some nights that not even a tickle would work and this routine I had created was becoming tedious but, I continued on as parents do.

The 7 Chakras

I started to develop an interest into spirituality and being at peace with ones self due to an ongoing battle with anxiety and depression. I began to learn about the different Chakras as well as alternative cleansing and healing techniques. I started to meditate to various Chakra healing frequencies which I found on YouTube, especially when it was bedtime and my son enjoyed them too. It actually took me a moment to realise he was falling to sleep within minutes! Yes, MINUTES!!! Within approximately 10-15 minutes he was sparko!


I needed to test this properly so I decided to incorporate it into the bedtime routine. After the bubble bath, teeth brushing and story I put on the Chakra music on YouTube, gave him a cuddle a kiss goodnight and left the room. No Back Tickles!!! After about 10 - 20 minutes, with intervals of checking, he was sound asleep. It actually worked!!! Honestly, I wished I had known this back when he was a baby. He enjoys it so much that he actually puts it on himself to go to sleep! (I know, right!)


Over the past year and a half of my spiritual journey I have come across a range of different calming frequencies for a variety of different things, there are also a few different ones that are specifically for children. I know every child is different and I am no expert by any means, but being a parent I honestly believe this works, it is also good for the stimulation of the brain. If you try to implement this into your child or children's bedtime routine I believe you will notice the difference instantly.
